manifesting moon ritual

The New Moon

The new moon always occurs in the corresponding sun sign.

The current new moon, May 25, 2017, is in Gemini.

Witchipedia offers an explanatory page regarding the new moon, suitable for printing to include in your own Book of Shadows at http://www.witchipedia.com/def:new-moon. It also includes the 2017 dates of the new moons and their corresponding sun signs.

New Moons are a great time to set intentions for things you’d like to create, develop, cultivate, make manifest. There are many ways to initiate this communion with the Universe from lighting a candle to elaborate rituals. What matters is that you’re committing yourself to your vision, and open to receiving guidance, healing, support from Spirit.

The new moon offers us a time to reset the clock and start with a clean slate. This always starts with some reflection on life in general.

Are you where you want to be?

What seeds for the future would you like to plant?

Know what you want – set your intentions and make them known to the universe.

You may have heard the common phrase, the devil is in the details. I disagree.

Sarah Prout says that God is in the details.

I say the gods and goddesses are in the details. Let’s make sure they know without a doubt what it is that we are seeking to manifest – and let us also make sure that what we seek is for the highest good of all concerned.

Google “new moon spells” and you will find plenty of rituals to perform as you celebrate the new moon. One of my favorites is the “Plant a Seed” ritual for success. You can find that one and a “new job” ritual / spell at http://www.free-witchcraft-spells.com/new-moon-spells.html.

You’ll find more interesting information about the moon at Everything Under the Moon, including a nice graphic of the moon’s phases for you to add to your Book of Shadows.

If you’re looking for something simple but meaningful to help you manifest change in your life, you can use the details in the following image… it is an excellent way to keep your intentions on your mind, and therefore conscious, until the full moon.

Blessed Be!
